I handled the VFX, CGI pack shot and the Image retouch for this project.
Driving legend Matt Mingay out-raced the custom engineered drone laser so decisively that the only solution was a complete VFX replacement of our laser line; alongside fake drone moves, our animated UI, digital headlight repairs and of course, our CGI pack shot.
The CGI pack shot was created in Unreal Engine 5. This allowed for an incredibly quick iterative process impossible in a traditional CG renderer; delivering each new revisions in a timescale of minutes, not hours.
