Automated Animation?

I handled the grade, VFX and animation for this project.

After Effect’s Expressions system is pretty powerful!

With a bit of work, I was able to set up a modular system that controlled pairs of balloons using height and separation variables - set relative to the center of the frame. In addition to this, each balloon was given its own individual randomly generated drift and string warp properties.
